Good morning, everyone! As you probably saw by the title, today is my birthday! *confetti* I’m so grateful that God has given me this many years of life! 😀
We actually celebrated my birthday on Saturday which was super fun, so today, I’m doing a little birthday haul. 🙂
**I’m not doing this brag. I love reading these posts, so I like to do some of my own! Thank you to my family for the gifts! :D**
Happy birthday to meeee! (we got a huge balloon. XD)
First off, my parents got me a new Bible!!! I’ve had my old one for quite a few years now and it was starting fall apart… and I really like this new one!!! 😀 Also included in this gift, but not pictured is a Strong’s Concordance coming in March! (I can’t stand using the internet one. XD)
Then from my Grandma and Grandpa, I got this thing called The Word in Color, plus some stamps! 🙂
Inside, it has cards with Bible verses on them that you can color. On the back, there’s space to write, and you can treat them like postcards! I know will definitely be using these. 😉
Next up, I got this cute little toolbox (it looks like great storage!!) with a small vase with a flower in it, a giftcard, (more on that below) and….
STARBURST JELLYBEANS! (aka the best kind!) I’m tempted to save them for April because candy = rewards for writers and Camp NaNo… (WHO ELSE IS SUPERRRR EXCITED FOR CAMP NANOOOO?!?!) but they might get too old. XD Also, I might eat them all first. 😛
And BOOKS! 😀
I received books 3-6 in the Incorrigible Children of Ashton Place series! (I already own 1 and 2) (and yes, those are different editions. XD)
I also got a copy of The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! This is such a funny book. My brother actually started reading yesterday and I believe he finished it! I was shocked. He picked it up all by himself when he usually only ever reads comic books/graphic novels, and books my mom makes him read for school.
Also, this book is surprisingly hard to take pictures of… maybe it was just the weird lighting yesterday. I don’t know… 😛
Finally, I got one giftcard to Barnes & Noble, as well as two giftcards to a local used book store!! 😀 (Guess who’s gonna be buying several books in the near future?! *raises hand eagerly*)
Well, that about wraps it up! Thank you to my family who helped me celebrate my birthday! <3
