If you remember, a few months ago, I started a series called House Updates. They’re obviously updates on the house my family is currently building. If you would like to read the previous post, be sure to check it out! A lot has changed since then. 😉

Biggest change:
We now have an actual building!! Even bigger change, that actual building has a roof on it! 😀 This is my dad’s shop and it is very fun to see the progress that’s been made on it over the past week. 🙂
Biggest change #2…
The studio (a much smaller building than the shop) pad has been poured! This is probably what’s going to be worked on for awhile because of all the rain we’ve had. (by worked on, I mean framing it)
And this is where we are on the actual house! Right now, we’re hoping that there will be a break in the rainy weather so we can get concrete trucks out here to pour this pad too!
Another thing I did while I was out there (before shoveling a ton of sand) was take pictures of a few almond blossoms. The almond season has been delayed slightly because of how cold it’s been lately, but there are still some blossoms here and there! 😉

No… it’s just the right way to say it!! XD Just kidding, just kidding!! I think it’s just regional differences in pronunciation… I don’t know. XD But most country folks in California say it almond with a silent L. 😉

This is so cool, I love it! My family and I actually built our own house just like you guys three years ago wayyyyyy out in the woods and are now happily living in it. It’s so cool to see other families building their own home, too!
