Hello everyone! ๐ย Hehe, thanks Ari for telling me how to change the colors of the font!! ๐ย
Happy June! Isn’t it crazy?!?! June already! Almost halfway through the year!!
Today I have for you a “What is happening in my life” post! Also this is my third post for HARP’s as a free topic! ๐
Iย dedicateย this post to all the bookworms out there! Because books are awesome ๐
Changes:
Don’t worry, it’s nothing too big!
First off I changed my divider and sign off! How do you like them?
Secondly, I’m making my blog a little bit more of a book blog!!! I have wanted to do this for awhile but haven’t until now.
My mom said I couldn’t make a totally separate blog for books and that I should, instead, just change my own blog to be slightly bookish! So I’m very excited about this!!!
This way I can take part in blog tours, write up book reviews, tell you what books I’m reading, my current TBR list, and other fun stuff! ๐
Hopefully this works out, but I think it will be fun. Tell me what you think and if you have a book blog or ever wanted to make one in the comments! ๐
What am I reading?
I am kinda reading a lot of books right now, hehe… but here we go!
Mary Emma & Company by Ralph Moody (Goodreads)
My Dad is currently reading the 4th book in the Little Britches series out loud to me and my family. I’m really enjoying this series, though (SPOILER ALERT) I’m sad they’re not in Colorado anymore… ๐
ย Twinepathy by C. B. Cook (Goodreads)
I’m enjoying this book so far, though I’m only about 5 chapters in I plan to read more today! I am doing an ARC review on Goodreads and Amazon for the authorย on her soon to be newest release, Lightporter, the second book in the IDIA series! Maybe I’ll post it here, eventually, who knows…
A Girl Becomes Legend by Kimberly Moore
I am beta reading this one (it is a fantasy book) and liking it a lot so far — I think even better than the first one! Especially the first few chapters when Petunia and her crew are exploring the jungle.
A Chick Update:
So awhile backย I told you that three of our chickens were killed… well, my Grandpa had 15 chicks and he didn’t want that many so…..
He gave three more to us!!!
Now we’re back up two 10 chickens including the two older ones!
Hopefully these chicks don’tย wanderย off!
I was going to take some photos, but then my battery died ๐ Here’s the ones I did get though. I’ll have to show you the chicks later. They’re getting SO BIG!!!
ย Eggs! And… that’s the only one I got XD I did take some photos of Oreo though!
ย Hey bunny bunny!! Look at that beach towel, it is covered in fur! XD
ย This bunny eats. A lot. XD
ย Bye bye Oreo! ๐
ย And this is a blurry picture of Livvy…. sitting where she shouldn’t be, bad kitty!! XD She is sitting on top of my skirt which is laying on the ironing board. *shakes head*
Lunches
Lunches have been pretty good this summer, so far! ๐
Mainly I’m having salad with either a little sandwich or something. Yesterday we had chocolate pudding that my sister made too!
My Mom also got this really good salad topping at Costco that has craisins, seeds, and things like that in it!
I also like to put meat, apples, and carrots in my salad! And dressing, but not too much.
My Mom doesn’t like dressing with her salad…
Let me know in the comments if you like dressing on your salad.
That was random XD
What’s happening in October?!?!
Oh yes! I am very excited for this!!
This October, I convinced my Mom to let me and my sister participate in a craft fair our county library is hosting!! I am thrilled that she said yes!
We will be selling baby sleepy bears and other little things we can make from my Mom’s sewing machine!
I think it will be very fun ๐
My sister and I are starting work on it this Monday… I think. We can’t do it on Saturday because we have other things, including my sister’s incredibly long dance recital.
A Shout out?!
I am also going to be doing a shout out section in this post! This time, the shout out is going to a pretty new blogger. She has only been around the blogosphere about a month!
Her blog is….

Counting up the points…
3 points for the post itself!
6 photos with two points per photo is 12 points!
2 points – I am posting this on Friday!
2 points – I dedicated this post to someone!
2 points – I included the words ‘wander’ and ‘automatic’!
3 + 12 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 21 points!

Random thought of the day: I always thought those automatic hand dryer things in restrooms were weird, don’t you? (?????? XD)
That’s all I have for you today! I had tons of fun making this post and I hope you enjoyed reading!
Are you doing HARP’s? Did you enjoy this post? Should I do more like it soon? Have you made any changes to your blog lately? What do you think of the changes I’m making to my blog? Do you like books? Do you have a book blog? What are you reading right now? Do you own any chickens or bunnies or cats? Have you ever done a craft fair? What did you have for lunch today? Are you following Pointe to Christ? Are you going to check out her blog? Did you give me questions for my Q&A? How’s your summer been so far?
So long!

Total: 21 points
Your sign off is so cute!! I have to go make a new sign off for summer soon, too.
Thank you!! Sounds good, I can’t wait to see it! ๐
Hey!!! Lizzy the recital isn’t that long. Its just about four hours. ๐ Its more fun if your a dancer
That’s still so long!!! ๐ It probably is. Mainly because you have a large amount of friends to talk to!
Mary Emma and Company!! *squeals* I LOVE that book! ๐ Have you read the others?
It’s pretty good so far!! I’ve read #1, #2, and #3. Now we’re on #4!
Nice! I read up to #6 but he’s like an adult by then so it wasn’t so fun to read. ๐ I guess that’s the thing when writing autobiographies – you have to stick with the facts. XD #4 and #3 are my favorite – #5 is pretty hilarious too!
Ohhh okay XD Yeah, I loved #3, I think that’s my favorite! ๐
XD I haven’t read it in a while, but I’ll definitely have to again! ๐
You should! ๐
Awesomeness!! My family just finished Mary Emma & Company, I have been loving those books!! ๐ The first ones when they were in CO were fun, since that is where I live! What do you like about them? ๐
<3
Me too! They’re so good! Oh yeah, cool! I like the parts where Little Britches (XD) is riding in the round up. I think the book before this Mary Emma & Company is my favorite, (the one where Ralph works for Mr. Batchlett) though I forget what it’s called. How about you?
Yea!! :)Very nice, yes that was a fun one!! He is so hardworking and smart!! I love the history and just everything! ๐
Yup! I know, he is also a really good storyteller! ๐ Me too!
Yes, he is!! Awesome!! ๐
Great changes! And your animals are adorable!! <3
Bookish blogs are so much fun to write, I hope you enjoy taking your blog in this new direction. ๐
Thank you so much! Yeah… ๐ I think I will!! I already have several posts planned XD
I think these posts might happen more than every other week, too XD
Yay!! I love the idea of you posting about books too!! Love your summer sign off and I like dressing on my salad!! ๐๐
Yay! I’m so glad, I’m super excited for it! ๐ ๐ ๐ Thanks! XD
I can’t wait to read more posts about books, yay!
Thank you so much!! I can’t wait to write them! ๐ ๐ ๐
