Didn’t get as much done today… I was busy with school. Though I did make a Chocolate Zucchini Cake. (they’re amaaaazing!)

I also worked on re-vising a bit of the plot and working on a few other random things related to that.

Today was a pretty good day for writing! ๐Ÿ˜€ And I’m still ahead of my goal, so I’m happy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hehe…. today was a fun day though. At my co-op, we did a fun little 50s day! Then after school, I mowed the pasture and that night, I was wayyyy too tired to write. ๐Ÿ™

Important lesson learned today: do not try to send mechanical pencils in the mail.

Anyway, I finally finished a certain chapter today, so that’s definitely good progress! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Especially because I wasn’t enjoying writing it. XD

Also, we went to my grandparents for supper. We had homemade noodles, meat, mashed potatoes, salad, and for dessert, strawberry pizza. It was very delicious. XD

Overall Goal:ย 11,853 out of 25,000

Today Jo did like three sprints with me on MyWriteClub… that was super great!! ๐Ÿ˜€ Thanks, Jo! ๐Ÿ˜€

I also did a short RP, so that was fun! ๐Ÿ™‚

*please do not steal, this is my writing/story idea*

Vanessa groaned as she woke up. She was vaguely aware that she was in the car and it was moving, but everything was numbed by pain.

Her mom looked back at her from the front seat. โ€œVanessa, honey, does it hurt too badly?โ€

Vanessa nodded slowly. โ€œWhere… where are we going?โ€

โ€œThe ER, honey, just sit tight.โ€

โ€œTry not to move it, alright?โ€ her dad chimed in.

Vanessa nodded again and leaned back against her seat, pain making everything fuzzy.

Ohhh, I wonder what will happen to her next! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Chapter IX

The twenty-third of July, nineteen hundred ninety two

This church service was one that started out like most others. As people gradually trickled into the building the adults chatted, the children played, and babies giggled, slept, or cried.

After some minutes of that, the preacher would get up on stage and head towards the pulpit. People would start to quiet down and soon, he would call for people to be quiet and church would begin.

Right now, the church the Alderโ€™s attended were in the stage of chatting, playing, giggling, and so forth.

Lights overhead illuminated the large building.

โ€œSo, Millie, howโ€™s that baby doing?โ€ a woman asked.

Millie Alder was going to have another baby, Vanessaโ€™s fourth sibling, including Brandon who was two years her elder.

โ€œOh, all right. It wonโ€™t stop growing!โ€
