I must say, coming up and taking this hike was definitely worth it, but the car ride was not so pleasant… I get carsick 🙁

And yes. There was snow in July. It was so fun! Snowball fights with cousins can get intense *cough* XD

This is a place where the ice broke and fell into the river! (this is zoomed in) It actually happened while we were up on a hill, eating lunch!

See that big bank of snow to the right? My uncle made a path across it and some of us (including me) walked across it with the river raging beneath! Scary :O

Sadly this deer didn’t stay long. We saw it wander away into the woods!

This and the 4 photos above (and others) is what inspired the name for my blog! Thank you, hummingbirds. 🙂 Just a note, 😉 the name Home with the Hummingbirds took awhile to come up with, it was definitely not automatic!
