Morning everyone! Today will be the first of a three part series, My Trip Back East.

You probably read the title, so, as you can tell, today we’re covering the plane trip, Mount Vernon, and Arriving in DC. Aka the first three days. (though the second day was just hanging out at my aunt’s house. We didn’t do anything. 😝)

Collage of the plane ride pictures… we had a layover in one airport, but didn’t get off the plane. The sun had set by the time we were in Ohio! 🙂

The first thing I felt when I stepped off the plane was humidity. whoa. O.o

Thursday, we headed to Mount Vernon.

They were actually re-doing the front of Mount Vernon… it was super cool to learn more about George Washington, his home, and family.

I would definitely recommend going to Mount Vernon if you ever get the chance. 🙂

I was keeping track of the different state license plates I saw… the parking lot of Mount Vernon is a great place to look. XD

I thought it was super cool that the wood of George Washington’s home was painted to look like stone. 🙂

This is a horrible picture, but I had to include it because RAIN! O.O It started POURING when we got outside. WHAT?! Where I’m from, it never rains in the summer, so this was CRAZYYY! XD
