Welcome to Home with the Hummingbirds, my blog!

Hi, I’m Liz a lover of reading and lazy clothes wait… that doesn’t make sense lounging around in comfortable clothes aka pajamas XD Here are some facts about me:

  • I belong in a family of five where I am the oldest sibling, I have two younger siblings: Claire and Andrew
  • My real name is Elizabeth but I prefer to be called by my nickname Liz
  • I have long (usually messy) brown hair, and brown eyes
  • Baseball is my favorite sport
  • The Giants are my favorite team!! YAY!! GIANTS!!!
  • My favorite colors are probably blue and purple

 

  • I am home schooled and a Christian teenager
  • I enjoy baking, reading, blogging and playing the piano
  • I have played the piano for 6 years
  • I also enjoy taking photos with my camera
  • I love Narnia!!
  • I also love The Mother-Daughter Book Club series!
  • And Keeper of the Lost Cities!
  • And the Anne of Green Gables series!
  • And…. okay, you get it. I love books. XD
  • I won Camp NaNo 2018!

      Camp NaNoWriMo is a camp that happens in April and July (online) for writers.
      Here is the link: https://campnanowrimo.org/
      You can start projects and track your progress in words, hours, minutes, lines, or pages! That way you can take up a small or large project. 😀

    1. Hehe I actually just started on it like 2 or 3 days ago XD (I’m still on the first book) but I love it already. 😀 So when I was adding in the photos of me at the beach, I just updated that. 😛

  18. I love your blog! I look forward to reading more from you. I also won Camp NaNoWriMo in April – I exceeded my goal. I was so excited! It was also my first time doing Camp, so I can’t wait to do it again in July. My ultimate goal is to finish the novel that I started in 2012 by December 31, 2018!

      1. You’re welcome! My novel is about these teenagers who have heard about about this strange summer camp in Maine for years. Then, they’re finally chosen to go. Lots of weird, scary things happen, but no one knows why. I’m really enjoying writing it – It’s something different for me. Also, I go by Laura Beth 🙂
